More Marketing Mistakes to Avoid
I never tire of articles that remind me about things that I already know but have forgotten. So for those of you who read this blog regularly, some of this may seem repetitious, but when the ideas are this good it’s worth a second read.
This article from Nonprofithub.com offers this advice about your social media content. They recommend (and I quote) that:
- ⅓ of your social content promotes your organization, converts readers and generates donations
- ⅓ of your social content should share ideas and stories from thought leaders in your industry or like-minded organizations
- ⅓ of your social content should be based on fluff/fun to show that there are human beings behind your social media marketing
I encourage you to read the whole thing, but here’s another great quote: “Did you know that video has a 400% higher engagement rate than static content? And the average website visitor spends 88% more time on sites that feature video?”
Go ahead… remind yourself!
