Patron Technology Executives Kick Off Fall Conference Season

CEO Eugene Carr will lead a Morning Intensive at the Arts Reach Conference in Los Angeles, and Product Manager Michelle Paul will present at the NAMP Conference in Charlotte.

New York, NY – October 3, 2012

The fall arts conference season is starting, and Patron Technology executives have appearances at the two biggest events. Founder and CEO Eugene Carr will share his expertise at the Fall 2012 Arts Reach National Arts Marketing, Development & Ticketing Conference, Next Generation Strategies – Are You In?, when Patron Technology presents the opening Morning Intensive, “From the Smallest to the Largest: Cutting-Edge Marketing for All Arts Organizations,” from 9:00 AM–12:00 PM on Friday, October 12th, 2012. Mr. Carr will host the first session of the morning on October 12th, from 9:00–9:45 AM, Arts Patrons Online: Five Powerful Trends Affecting All Arts Marketers, and he will share an update on arts patron trends in online usage based on a survey conducted in March 2012, comparing that to similar surveys done since 2007. Arts Reach National Arts Marketing, Development & Ticketing Conference is being held October 12-14, 2012 at the Millennium Biltmore Hotel in Los Angeles, CA.

Patron Technology Product Manager Michelle Paul will be speaking at NAMP, the National Arts Marketing Project Conference, on Saturday, November 10th, 2012 in an afternoon session from 2:15 – 3:30 PM, titled We ARE the New Audience: Empowering Next-Generation Marketers to Reach Next-Generation Patrons. Sharing the stage are Sarah Benvenuti, Director of Development of The Civilians; Robert Gore, Program Outreach Coordinator, Theatre Development Fund; Katherine Mooring, Vice President Capacity & Community Engagement, Charlotte Arts & Science Council; and Kaysi Winsman, Chair of Membership Initiatives Team, Young Affiliates of the Mint Museum. National Arts Marketing Project Conference is being held November 9-12, 2012 at the Westin Charlotte Hotel in Charlotte, NC.

In his “Wired for Culture” blog, Mr. Carr posted recently: “In an industry in distress, why isn’t technology front and center as part of the discussion? And if technology is driving innovation at every level of the corporate world, why aren’t more arts leaders embracing technology that helps them cut costs, market better, and run more efficiently.” Patron Technology’s presence at Arts Reach and NAMP this fall, as well as other scheduled conferences in 2012 and 2013, will be an important factor in answering these questions.
