Patron Technology: Summer of Conferences

Executives present at the American Association of Community Theatre National Convention and the International Association of Venue Managers 87th Annual Conference and Trade Show.

New York, NY – July 9, 2012

It’s another busy month for Patron Technology executives, who will be presenting to theatre owners, arts executives, and venue managers at two major conferences in July.

On Friday, July 13th, Senior Account Executive Greg O’Neill will be leading a 9:00 AM workshop at the AACT (American Association of Community Theatre) National Convention in New York City. Based on the book Breaking the Fifth Wall: Rethinking Arts Marketing for the 21st Century, co-authored by Patron Technology CEO Eugene Carr and Product Manager Michelle Paul, the workshop addresses the technological advances and shifts in consumer behavior that have changed the way arts organizations approach their audience development efforts and how they can use social media to build better awareness.

The 9:00 AM session covers the essential techniques needed to build long-lasting patron relationships, including ways to use social media and maximize Twitter and Facebook posts to engage patrons and a discussion about why e-mail is still the most powerful digital marketing technique available and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) paves the way for more effective marketing and dramatically better patron service.

Patron Technology is also a featured exhibitor at the convention, which will be held July 12-14th at the Millennium Broadway Hotel and Conference Center, located in the heart of Times Square at 145 W 44th Street, New York City, NY, 212.768.4400.

On Monday, July 23rd, Founder and CEO Eugene Carr will be a featured guest panelist at the International Association of Venue Managers 87th Annual Conference & Trade Show, speaking on “Ticketing – New Trends and Technology 2.0 Get the Ticket! What’s New, What’s Hot, What’s Not.” Moderated by Ryan Cross, Senior Marketing Executive, Q Media in Denver, the panel features ticketing top brass who will evaluate and discuss the latest promotions in ticketing, technology, and current trends in the industry. The session, scheduled from 11:00 AM to 12:15 PM, will highlight how to increase online presence, benefit from ticket integration systems, have mobile ticketing technology improve revenue streams, and continuously keep customers engaged.

Patron Technology will also be exhibiting at the Conference & Trade Show, which will be held July 21-24th at the Greater Fort Lauderdale/Broward County Convention Center, 1950 Eisenhower Boulevard, Fort Lauderdale, FL, 954.765.5900.
