New York, NY — Patron Technology today announced that its president, Eugene Carr, will be the keynote speaker at the National Alliance for Musical Theatre Conference to be held in Atlanta, Georgia.

Mr. Carr is scheduled to present a session titled, Trends, Technology and Opportunities: The Digital Revolution and the Magnificent Future of Musical Theatre. Carr will speak about the trends, technology and blossoming opportunities on the horizon. Says Carr, “In just the last ten years alone, all our professional lives have changed dramatically, and in ways we probably could not have predicted. Many organizations are now selling a third or more of their tickets online. E-mail is one of the primary means of communicating, and having a web site is a requirement for doing business today. While these changes may seem dramatic, the next five years will offer even more changes, and that speed of change will be faster and bolder than ever before—providing more opportunities for arts managers.” The session will take place on Friday, April 3rd, 2009 at 10:00am.

The National Alliance for Musical Theatre, founded in 1985, is a national service organization dedicated to musical theatre that presents two annual conferences that focus on business and artistic areas within the field of musical theatre. The organization now has over 150 members, located throughout 31 states and 8 countries, including theatres, presenting organizations, universities, and individual producers.
