Patron Technology to Host Second Annual E-marketing Event

New York, NY — Patron Technology today announced that it will host its second annual day-long “E-marketing E-mersion E-vent.”

The event, to be held at the Baruch Performing Arts Center in New York City, will feature e-marketing experts including Denise Canniff, Senior Manager for Business Development, The Metropolitan Museum of Art; Tyrona Heath, Senior Training Specialist, Google; Ross Kudwitt, CEO, Nine Summer; Evans Mirageas, Artistic Director, Cincinnati Opera; David Snead, Director of Marketing, The New York Philharmonic; and Patron Technology’s president, Eugene Carr.

The conference will be hosted by Elliot Forrest of New York’s classical music radio station, WQXR (96.3 FM).

The event will begin with a session called “What’s Your Audience Really Doing Online? Latest Research Results, Trends and Tips,” presented by Eugene Carr. The presentation will cover the results of a 2008 Arts Patron Online Tracking Research Study, which surveyed over 7,000 arts patrons.

Following the opening session, will be a full-day of e-marketing sessions centering around conference topics, such as e-mail marketing, podcasts and video, data management for nonprofits. Additional sessions will cover the emerging trends for “cloud computing,” as well as Google’s free search engine marketing tools for nonprofits, and a discussion about a new way to market arts events on the leading social networking site, Facebook.

The event is limited to 175 participants and is scheduled to take place on Friday, September 12, 2008 from 9:30am to 5:30 PM. Registrations are now being taken at Patron Technology’s Web site, and an early-bird discount is in effect until July 31.
