About Éric Valley
Eric Valley has been involved in live entertainment since his teenage years. While studying music at University, he was introduced to ticketing with a part time job at the Admission ticket network while working in different Theaters in Montreal. These experiences would become the foundation of his career.
Mr. Valley started his career at Cirque du Soleil in 2001 mainly as a box office and house manager on tour for different big top shows around the world. He came back to Montreal at Cirque du Soleil headquarter in 2007 to develop an all new ticketing operation process for the Arena Shows business unit who was being created. He eventually became the Director of this unit, and since early 2012, he is overseeing ticket sales operations for all of Cirque du Soleil Touring productions worldwide.
As the Director of Ticket Sales, Eric Valley has recently rethought completely the revenue management strategies and developed a new demand based pricing approach currently being deployed on all Cirque du Soleil touring shows. He is also in charge of customer services (call center, policies and tour support) and the Cirque du Soleil Gift card program.
