Notes on Seats
Yes, it’s analog. Yes, it’s a lot of work. Yes, it’s hokey. And yes, it’s definitely old school.
However, every time I go to a show and I see an envelope with the name of the ticket-buyer on it, taped to the seat, I think someone at that organization really cares.
In a world in which we’re trying to figure out a way to create a real connection with a donor or a first-time ticket buyer, this seems to me a sure-fire way to get their attention.
Digital wins most of the time, but not always!
