Building A Better Online Community

By now everyone knows that building an online community is a great thing to do, if you have people who are passionate about what you’re passionate about. Thankfully, in the arts we have this in spades. For us, the work is all about methodology and tools. There’s no shortage of articles, blog posts, and books on this subject, and I read a lot of them. I figure if I pick up one new tip per blog post, it’s worth the few minutes I’ve invested in it.

That’s why this article from BufferSocial is so helpful: There are five methods and 15 tools, some of which I’d never heard of before. Don’t be put off by the fact that the writer works for Mention, which is the very first tool described. Sure it’s a bit of self-promotion, but better to know about it than not.
